A Little Bit About Me...

🌸 Hi there Flower Lovers!
In the world of craft sales, I am the new kid on the block. My name is Lori Thomas and along with my husband, mom and two children I have settled my heart and home in Wake Forest. I have always loved the simple beauty of pressed flowers. From the first time my little girl brought me a clover that I pressed in my Bible to the framed hydrangeas I used for my son’s wedding. Many of the ferns and flowers I select for my designs are from my own garden. I take them to my kitchen to press under my cast-iron skillet and into the wood press that my husband made for me. The reality is that I can’t make a trip to my mailbox without coming back with a handful of something to press. Some designs are complemented with special repurposed frames to enhance the character, and all of my pieces are original and unique. As a result, it is my hope that any imperfections will just add to the charm and nostalgia of these handmade pieces. I hope you enjoy these natural designs as much as I love making them.
